ATTENTION:  Pearls Before Swine and Tom Rapp fans:

This site has not been updated in some time, and we have been getting many inquiries about new releases.  I will try to clear up some misunderstandings.  "Radio Pearls" was mistakenly announced as being released, by ESP-Disk', and even offered briefly for sale on Amazon and other Internet sites.  Not a single CD was ever pressed, nor offered for sale, either by ESP or WildCat Records.  Some people had briefly offered bootleg copies of it on a couple of Web sites for ridiculous sums of money.  No one has ever gotten a single copy from these people after paying said ridiculous sum.  They have been since shut down and removed from all sites offering it.  "Radio Pearls" may be available in the future, but the project has been ground to a halt by a party, claiming financial interest in the original recording.  Truth be known, it was originally recorded by me alone, off-the-air, as it was a radio broadcast.  We will gladly share profits with the producers of the original radio program, after any sales are made, but do not have funds to "advance" them any money.  If, and when, it is released, it will be through WildCat Recording USA, and NOT through ESP-Disk Records.  We appreciate all of your concerns and your e-mails over the years.  Mr. Rapp and myself hope to settle this situation sometime this year.

"Stardancer" has not, and probably WILL not be released on CD, at least not in the near future.  Universal Music, who currently administrates the properties of the former Blue Thumb label,  will not release the rights for us to do so, but there is hope that they may release it themselves.  I would very much like to see that album, and "Sunforest", released properly and remastered.  I have offered several labels my services to do so, but none have responded, thus far.

"Tom Rapp Live" 1973, has also never been released.  I simply lack the funds to press this and put it into production.  Perhaps another label would like to license this from us?  We'll see.

Tom and I have unearthed a magnificent live Pearls concert, one of the few with an entire band.  It is from 1971, and the album has been completed.  The CD contains 19 tracks, including a never before released Tom Rapp song.  The performance is nearly identical to the one that I referenced in my liner notes in the Water Records box set, as it was recorded a couple of days earlier.  The album is called "Live Pearls" and will be available by the end of the year on WildCat Records.  All I need is money to make it happen.

I was recently interviewed, as was Mr. Rapp, for an article in Crawdaddy, about the significance of the first PBS album, "One Nation Underground".  Watch for it.  We also have produced 40th Anniversary Editions of both ONU and Balaklava, refining even the ESP release from a couple of years ago.  They truly sound brand new, again, and will be available from WildCat.
